NZCT

Applications open all year. Apply at least 10 weeks before you need the money and check that NZCT has venues in your community. Details

The Lion Foundation

Applications open all year. Allow at least 8 to 10 weeks. Generally funds groups within 5km of a Lion venue, with exceptions at its discretion. Successful grants are limited to once per 12 months; check your last grant confirmation date. Details

Opens 6 Jan and closes 2 Feb 2027, with decisions expected in late April. Plan ahead if your project needs funding early in the year. Details

Manawatū District Creative Communities Scheme Currently closed

The council publishes annual application windows of 1 to 31 March and 1 to 31 August. This scheme covers arts projects in the Manawatū rating district, which is separate from Palmerston North City. Check the next round with the council before planning an application. Details

Start with the funding map. Write down where your project happens and who benefits, then check the funder's venue area or council boundary. That quick check can save a whole application to the wrong funder. Keep your financial statements, bank account proof and quotes ready too.
